Description: I have for sale a very nice 1940/50s oak cased Smiths Empire 12" dial clock with an 8 day spring wound movement. The case itself is in very good condition for saying the clock is a around 70+ years old, cleaned to the standard you see in the photos. The replacement 12" dial is clean, the original chrome bezel and glass are in a very good clean condition. The 8 day Empire mechanism is clean, and has been oiled with clock mineral oil. On the wall the clock is ticking strongly and is keeping good time. The original cylindrical pendulum can be fastened into a clip for transportation. Dimensions of the clock and case are 15" diameter by 5" deep. This is an excellent clean example of an Smiths dial wall clock, suitable for any room in the house, and is priced sensibly to others available. I will use a brand new double walled box for packing, the clock wrapped securelyin thick bubble wrap, the boxfilled with polystyrene peanut shaped pieces. Postage will be by PostOffice Parcelforce 48, but of course you are more than welcome to collect the clock from my home and see itworking on the wall.
