Description: 11" DEP Simon Halbig ~ French Market Doll ~ Cabinet Size This is a lovely little French Dep doll measuring just under 11". She is marked "Dep" and a 7 close to the neck opening. Most likely she was made by Simon Halbig for the French Market. She has no chips, cracks or repairs to her bisque head and her original French body is wood and composition. There are some little pieces of the top paint missing on each side of her shoulders. No missing or broken fingers and normal age patina to the factory paint. She has sleep blue glass eyes and an open mouth with a row of little molded upper teeth. She has full brows and rosy cheeks free from rubs. Ears are pierced with no earrings or chips. One eye has a little bit of the wax lid showing depending on how she is standing. Her human hair wig is original and she has been dressed many years ago in a ladies black two piece morning gown. She wears a one piece antique undie and long black stockings, garter and ties shoes with buckles. On her head she has a black hat with a tilt to one side brim giving it a high fashion statement.
