Rarity 5. (SEE PICTURES). On the obverse are 13 five-pointed stars around an Indian head in the center facing left, and the date " 1876 " at the bottom. On the reverse, in the center of the coin is written," 1 <.> DOLLAR " with a small five-pointed star under the LL in DOLLAR. Around that is an open wreath of five pairs of berries and 6 bunches of leaves on both sides, and bow on the bottom of wreath. Above the wreath is written " CALIFORNIA GOLD ".
