Description: This gorgeous Smoky Skeletal Herkimer Diamond quartz crystal is from The Diamond Mountain Mine in Little Falls, New York! It is a single crystal measuring just over 3 inches in length with intricate skeletal growth features on most of its faces. Most of the crystal has a gorgeous smoky color with excellent clarity, while the bottom 1/3 is a more milky color which contrasts nicely. Minor inclusions of black hydrocarbon as well as flashy rainbows and some brittle white dolomite crystals attached to the outside. Sharp and intact terminations. There are a few areas of host rock contact, and an area with some damage on the back, but this is a great specimen overall. 100% natural. Mined by hand in the Summer of 2022. Material: Quartz var.
