John Bunyan (1628-1688) was an English writer and Puritan preacher, who is now best remembered as the author of this Christian allegory, The Pilgrim's Progress. This work is regarded as one of the most significant works of theological fiction in English literature and has been translated into more than 200 languages. CONDITION In a half morocco binding. Externally fairly smart, though faded to the spine and boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, except for the odd spot to the first and last few pages, and to pages facing plates.
