In 1900 he went to Paris for seven years of art study under Van Home Millet and at Académie Delecluse and La Palette with Jacques Emile Blanche. After returning from Paris, he lived in Silver City, NM until about 1915, but exhibited in Los Angeles during this period. Moving to California in 1916, he was a resident of Santa Monica and later settled in Santa Barbara where he remained until his demise on Dec. 2, 1950. Member: Calif. Art Club.
