Description: 1931-D Mercury Dime XF in Rare Dominion Grading Service (DGS) Slab. DGS graded this coin XF Lightly Cleaned, but still gave it a numeric grade. The cleaning is very light, and the coin might actually straight grade by today's standards, however, let's be honest the coin is not the focus the plastic is what is important with this piece. Dominion Grading Service was started by David Lawrence Rare Coins (DLRC). DLRC purchased the assets of PCI and used the same shell as PCI. DGS only operated from April 2008 until August of 2010, so these old holders are becoming harder and harder to find. However, DLRC is still one of the leading numismatic auction houses in operation today. Perfect for slab collectors. Own a piece of numismatic history. We do not ship internationally so please don't ask. Returns accepted but the coin must remain in its original packaging/slab.
