1950s Antique Vintage Doll Clothes Lot American Character Sweet Sue & Arranbee

Description: Large lot of doll clothes. I’m estimating that they are from the mid 20th century so approximately 1940s / 1950s. They are definitely old, but I don’t know the exact year. I think they are for American Character Sweet Sue and Arranbee dolls. No tags. Different sizes. Some look like they are for a 14” to 15” doll, while others look like they are for an 18” slender hard plastic doll. The blue print dress has a matching red sweater but the sweater thing is missing buttons. I think this outfit is for a slender 14” Arranbee doll, but I’m not sure what her name is (Nancy Lee? Nanette?). I think the belt goes with it?? The long pink dress I think is American Character Sweet Sue, and I think it’s for a 14” Sue. It has some stains and the lace on one sleeve is damaged. The hoop is broken and needs to be reshaped. The plain blue dress I think belongs to 18” Sweet Sue, and it is missing the snaps in the back. The red and white dress looks like it is for an 18” doll, and it has some stains. There are matching panties safety pinned to it. Not sure who the red pajamas are for; missing buttons. These smell old and punky, and they smell like someone in the past sprayed them with some perfume, so they either need to be cleaned or aired out. (I dislike all perfume, so if you are like me and dislike perfume, please be aware that these have smells.) Most of these are used and played with and show signs of play and age. Some of these have stains. Some of these need cleaning / mending/ repair. These items are used and played with and they are not perfect.
