The web page about Capt. William W. McMillan has information about the championship matches and list many of the winners including Mr. Pinion. Sparrows Point Police Department was mainly for policing a steel mill company town (Bethlehem Steel Company) and its workers. The town is gone and the mill is shut down. This is from Offutt Pinion's estate, he owned a gunsmith shop in San Pablo, Calif.
