Description: 1959 Solid Silver Three Piece Cruet Set. Pepper, Salt, Mustard. Full English Silver Hallmarks for Emile Viner, Sheffield, England 1959. Weight silver only 227g.. A lovely unique quality good size heavy cruet set. Comprising a salt pot, a pepper pot and a mustard pot with a hinged lid and spoon. All have the same makers mark and dates except for the spoon which has the same maker but is shown assayed a year earlier. The set is in its original gift box. Measurements approximately Salt height. 8.5cm (3. 1/3”) Pepper height. 7.5cm (3”) Mustard pot height. 7cm (2. 3/4”) Spoon length 7cm (2. 3/4”) Condition well loved and used. There is some salt corrosion to the top of the salt pot, and it has a little ding there too, also the bottom has a ding to the outside. The pepper pot is very good, with a light ding to the outside of the base. The mustard pot feels a little loose on the hinged lid, but this is the way it has been made, also with a little light mustard corrosion to the inside of the lid, the mustard pot also shows some dings to the outside of the base. Please inspect all my photographs very carefully as they are part of my description. This is a good heavy set and has been loved.
