Description: This is an original set of six Wishbone Armchairs, designed by Hans Wegner for Carl Hansen and Son in 1950. This set was produced in Denmark in the 1960s, and the listed price includes the set of six chairs as shown. The chairs feature solid beech frames that have been painted black, and retain their natural woven paper cord seats. The Danish Quality Control labels are affixed to several of the frames. Each chair measures 20 inches deep, 21.5 inches wide, and 30 inches high. They have a seat height of 17.5 inches. There are some light scuffs and scrapes on the legs, especially near the feet. The paper cord seats have no holes or unraveling and are in great shape. The cord has darkened over time to a desirable honey hue. Overall, these chairs are in very good condition. Please see photos.
