Description: 1964 1965 1966 Ford C4 Transmission gear shift lever & nut. This is a 1964-1965 Ford Mustang C4 transmission shifter lever that attaches to the C4 transmission itself. It measures 3 1/4 inches in total length. The solid rod from the kickdown lever attaches to this unit. Later models used a wire instead of the solid rod. If yours has been changed over to the wire system this is the unit to change it back to concourse condition. The solid rod attachment works better with a quicker instantaneous response and doesn't stretch over time. I found a box of these in my dad's garage who worked for Ford in the 60's. When mounting the shifter bellcrank it is labeled "inside" which matches up to the side of the C4 transmission and uses the correct nut. Please ask any question you may have before purchasing. Thanks
