1970's Cadillac BLACK Lower Door Trim Pad Panel -Pass Side (Eldorado & Deville)

Description: ** ON SALE, SAVE $50 THIS MONTH~!~! ** It's not often these panels become available, especially in this condition.....this Passenger Side Lower Door Pad / Panel will fit any 1971-76 Coupe DeVille and Calais coupes. It can be modified to fit 1971-76 Eldorados by cutting a hole for the rear seat door release handle.....or you can remove the handle and use the panel as you see it here. This panel will not fit any sedan. This auction is for the (1) passenger side lower panel. Cadillac was totally UNIQUE with their door panels for this era. While Buick, Chevy, Pontiac and Olds were putting in cheap PLASTIC armrest panels (with a dinky rubberish pad for your elbow), Cadillac went all out with fully padded panels. Definitely a lot classier....however, over time these panels would crack and rip apart. (Don't feel bad, the other GM panels decayed and showed every scratch put upon them, lol). Cadillac did so many interior colors between 1971-76, about 80 or so....so finding one to match your car is very difficult. The solution? Buy a pad and dye it. This Black pad is perfect for that situation, or use is as-is (the color was used 1971-78). Check out the pics for more details....overall this pad is a survivor and is in excellent shape. Armrest is nice, coloring even, backing cardboard is strong, etc...just a touch of baring in the carpet at the lower left (probably rubbed a loose sill plate)...was pulled from a 1972 era Coupe DeVille. Ideal candidate to dye, if desired, but likely this gem will head into a black show-quality car just as you see it. It's still nice and soft, since it came from a lifetime Midwestern car...our panels don't dry out as easily as Southern ones do~!
