Description: Please read entire ad!!! This is a factory GM original Trans Am shaker hood air cleaner base for the Olds equipped 403 6.6 liter 77 78 79 Pontiac Trans Am models. This air cleaner base is necessary for the shaker scoop set up. This base is rusty inside as shown. There were some small rust holes filled with some kind of metal sealer but if sandblasted I'm sure there will be more holes. Bottom of the inner base will need repairs due to this rust shown in the pics. It's still usable and with some rust repair can be a very nice air cleaner base. These are extremely difficult to find and not reproduced by anyone. Save some cash with this one that needs some work. These usually sell for 3-400 dollars. Snorkel is in good shape and flapper is intact. All Therm AC components are intact.
