Description: The Xerox has not been used much but has been sitting in its box for years. It still turns on and the keys work however the issue is the part that puts the words on paper doesn't slide as you type. I got it to move slightly after button smashing but it clearly needs some lubrication because it doesn't slide correctly. I think it's because of its age and lack of use all these years. This type writer is an antique and was released in 1984 I included an old youtube link that talks about it. This printer was revolutionary when it first came out! https://youtu.be/KOD2I_Z0Dfg Included all its parts as well as extra ribbons I also included a quick description from the xerox Wedsite when it was first released "Xerox 610 Memorywriter Electronic typewriter with memory function. Large off-white plastic casing. Keyboard at front with grey keys, above the keyboard is an angled display screen and control panel with several function buttons. On top of the unit is the paper roller under a clear plastic guard and towards the rear is the paper platform. There is a black knob either side of the machine to turn the paper reel. The rear of the machine has numerous ventilation slots as well as a power cord and several sockets. Included with the machine is a handbook, a box of Lift-off Tapes and reference cards in a holder that attaches to the machine."
