1985 Jeep CJ

Description: 1985 CJ 7, I6 258, T5 Manual Transmission, Dana 300 Tcase. What's been done during my ownership:Upgraded to Fuel injection with upgraded distributor and electronically controlled timing. Aluminum Valve cover. This does have a Factory Serpentine belt setup, I have not seen many setup that way. Completely new fuel system with electric fuel pump. Tank was pulled and refurbished when the fuel injection was installed as well..Entire braking system was replaced replaced including all lines, proportion valve, etc Both axles were torn down and serviced. Rear axle has all new bearings and seals and upgraded 1 piece axle shafts. Front axle has new wheel bearings, axle shafts were serviced, upgraded manual locking hubs and a front locker was added. all UJoints replaced.Hurst Short Shifter. These things are hard to come by and super expensive now. Makes it extremely fun to drive! Hard bikini top (cut hard top basically)comes with a bestop soft top, soft bikini top, soft 2 piece doors, and will also include a set of black YJ full doors(need interior panels) if you would like them. there may be some more top parts and hardware that i have that i will include. Driver and passenger floor pans need to be replaced. I have all the panels needed, i never installed them. I will include them as well. It runs and drives highway speeds with no issues shakes or wobbles. The fuel injection and the short shifter make it alot of fun to drive! It recently passed inspection all lights and turnsignals etc work. Its been painted a few times prior to my ownership and its defiantly due for new paint. The body has typical issues but the the frame is free from rot. I was originally planning on a mild teardown and upgrades this winter but have other projects needing attention first so i have a bunch of spare parts and things ive accumulated that i will include if the buyer wants. such as.... stock tilt column, full dash and gauges, extra tailgate, d300 twin sticks, i think theres a set of fenders and a hood and grill combo, some renegade trim panels, etc. whatever i have im more than happy to include.
