Description: What a great find! Here is a mid 19 century wooden handled pantry box with its untouched original dry red wash / paint surface. Pantry box is 8 inches tall and is 11 1/4 in diameter. The base and top section have there original square headed nails. Box is in all original condition with warping on the top and is practically loose from the band being held by only two nails that come out and a split on bottom as typical.
