Let me explain my rating. I rate most of my cards very good unless I see a defect that is bad. The very good card probably won’t be perfect. It may have a few white corner, edge or surface specks on it. It may have a few scratches in the surface if it’s chrome or prizm. These are the reasons I give it a rating of very good INSTEAD IF EXCELLENT OR MINT. Even if I think it’s better which many of my cards are I rate VG. I figure most people can find at least one little thing wrong with a card OR they would all grade as 10’s. I take good pictures and I usually rate my cards lower than I should.
