The perimeter of the coin has a traditional Chinese scroll-pattern reminiscent of the original Silver Trade Dollars of 1895-1935. A merchant ship under full sail can be seen in the background.Reverse: Depicts the right-facing profile of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the year of issue and the face value.
