21" Lee Middleton Doll, "Jewels And Lace" w/ Face Sculpt by Artist Reva Shick.

Description: Lee Middleton's "Jewels and Lace" is the fourth doll in the " Four Silken Splendor" series by artist Reva Schick. The unique face sculpt is "Lil Darlin'" and the body style is the 21" newborn small edition. She is 1 of only 308 made and she is truly gorgeous. Once you have reveled at her sweet life-like face, most notable is the short blonde wig which is much silkier than a lot of Lee Middleton dolls and is just the right length to perfectly frame her face. It has just enough body to allow movement and bounce right back into place. She wears a dark pink silk Dupioni top with matching pants which suits her beautifully. The collar is made of embroidered lace with evenly spaced crystal bead accents. (A matching dark pink headband and a pair of black velveteen shoes are not included.) Her outfit shows some wear but nothing excessive or that renders the outfit unwearable. She was produced in 2005 or 2006 and is doll #1770 in the Lee Middleton Catalog. She was purchased by my daughter from THE DOLL PEDDLER in LR, AR approximately 20 years ago and was displayed for only a few years before being stored in a trunk inside the house. Please note that she has had recent exposure to both cats and smoke other than cigarette smoke. However, she has been thoroughly cleaned, has no stains in soft body or vinyl, hair is not frayed, cut, frizzed, discolored, or tangled
