This is out of our hands. With the eggs being fresh, they should be good for at least 10 days. We only send eggs that are 1-2 days old for orders under 20. We do our best to pack the eggs securely and safely. If they do arrive damaged, they are insured, and a claim can be filed with the USPS. I recommend letting the eggs rest a day once you receive them before incubation. The Roosters comb and waddles will appear reddish as they mature. Cemani's black color is a result of excess pigmentation of the tissues which is caused by a genetic condition "fibro melanosis". Some chicks may have white toes or white on the wings and can go away with the first molt. This breed has a high cull rate. They will start laying at a young age and lay cream colored eggs. Their egg production is approximately 80-120 eggs per year. Hens weigh up to 4.5 lbs and Roosters weigh up to 7 lbs.
