The booster mounts with a 4-bolt pattern. The 4 bolts are in a perfect square and are 3 3/8" apart (center to center). The master cylinder in this kit is the Ball Milled style and features a 1" bore and the ports measure 9/16" and 1/2" on each side. This master cylinder will work with any drum/drum, disc/drum, or disc/disc setup.A disc brake combination valve is a necessity when doing a drum to disc conversion. The combination valve will provide all the valving necessary in the system. Combination valves perform four functions...(1) Proportioning, (2) Metering, (3) Residual Pressure, and (4) System Failure Warning.Proportioning:As more force is applied to the brakes and the car begins to lean forward, less braking force is needed in the rear. This valve decreases the pressure to the rear, preventing lock up.System Failure Switch:This valve has a system failure switch that will alert you when half of your braking system is not working properly.This valve is a great upgrade over the original and is a must when upgrading from drum to disc brakes. This is a universal GM valve, and will work on almost any Chevy, Buick, Oldsmobile, Cadillac, Pontiac, or GM Trucks with a GM style Master Cylinder. This also includes the left Side Bracket Mounting Kit, which allows you to mount this to the Left (Driver's Side) of the master cylinder with or without any aftermarket or Stock Booster including 7" 8" 9" 10" and 11" sizes.
