A very big antique Bhojpuri kukri from Nepal, no knife, sword, dagger

Description: An antique Bohjpuri kukri from Nepal. Wooden handle is carved out to give place for one of the both byknives and is in my opinion an old replacement, The threepart wooden scabbard nicely carved and hold together with metal band and shoe, see pics, the mouth for the main knife is reinforced with metal sheet (pic. 16), blade is still very sharp. Such knives were used to sacrifice buffaloes. End of 19th century to beginning of 20th century. Approx. 61 cm long inside scabbard, 58 cm without, blade alone 46 cm, 11(!) mm thick at the spine behind the handle. 1509 gram.
