This is a classic 8x10 view camera by Agfa-Ansco. This large format camera has a classic design with a nice wood construction and folds up nice and compact for travel and storage too. It offer quite a few movements; front rise, rear swing, rear tilt and has a design with a built-in extension rail too.. This camera has a Packard-type pneumatic shutter in its lens board making it useable with both barrel lenses and shuttered lenses alike. This camera comes exactly as shown, in good condition showing cosmetic wood wear from use/age with a cosmetic wood piece chipped on the rail (has no affect) . The focusing is easy to control. the front rise works with a proper geared movement. The camera includes a wooden lens board (with a metal lens ring approx. 1-3/4" opening) with a pneumatic air release that works properly shows some finish wear and some tape on the neck of the tube. The camera has a grid screen 8x10 ground glass showing some oxidation and grid rub off with no cracks, no chips, and a good camera fit . The bellows show wear with some pleats out of position causing a bit of a squishing most edges showing pin holes, with some taped areas. The focusing works and the camera looks to be in good working condition and the built in extension rail works too. This camera comes with a proper fitting tripod rail slider too. The slider properly clamps to the camera and locks down. It shows some wood stress fracture marks and works with proper movement and locks to the camera nicely too.
