ALCO Models HO Brass #D-144 C-430 Diesel Locomotive NYC #2052

Description: *This beautiful diesel locomotive has only moderate signs of wear from light past use. As a result, we’re offering this locomotive as used. Beautifully custom painted, numbered & weathered to match NYC Engine #2052. Jewel lenses have been professionally installed & look amazing. Only 800 of these were made by Kumata in 1974. This Locomotive is NOT DCC ready, however it can be easily converted to DCC using a hardwired decoder. Tested on 12/23/24 and found her to not run (DNR) in either direction. The loco did receive power so I suspect it’s just a gear issue. Usually this is either gears that need to be freed up or a re-motoring may be required. Both are easy fixes with proper tools/parts/experience. Nonetheless, an unbelievably cool display model as this paint is borderline award winning. Original box is included. The original foam has been replaced with a custom REBOXX foam set to help keep this beauty better protected for years to come. Original paperwork is missing and will NOT be included.
