Alfredo Orozco is an artist, painter and woodworker from Mexico City. In the 1970s, he moved to Los Angeles and created a series of geometric serigraphs. The prints were shown in galleries from Manhattan Beach to Downtown. I am Alfredo Orozco, an artist of color! Throughout my entire life I have been surrounded by and influenced by extraordinary, vivid color as depicted on house walls to murals. In the late ‘70’s I was attracted to the concept of serigraphy. I studied the real, ink, silk-screening process and perfected this art form because it is an expression of beauty, of harmony, of space.
