Description: A most wonderful find for the primitive lover and artisan/doll maker~ a very nice length of small scale gingham printed cotton.An earlier cotton, about mid 1800's or so.This piece is very strong but is distressed as I have tried to show in my photos. Not really certain what caused the distressing as the cotton itself is strong? But it's pretty much throughout this long length.The distressing is actually really neat on this and gives it a great old authentic primitive look in projects. So if you're a primitive artisan, you won't have to do much to this one, it already has an authentic time spent distressed appeal.I am offering this in lengths that are*** 23" (early width) by 60" long ***which I can send continuous for multiple quantiles.The lengths will have some good areas too but the majority is aged.Again, this is a strong cotton, the aging, fiber wear doesn't appear to effect the cottons strength.It is an ideal piece for primitive rags dolls and projects that you want a very old aged, distressed appeal.
