Description: This is an incredible color fashion plate from the Regency Era (think Bridgerton) from April 1802. It features 2 ladies and a child!! Very unusual for these types of fashion plates. One lady is dressed in a white dress with a teal colored short coat and hat. The other is a peach colored redingote coat and floppy hat. The child wears a pink shawl coat, bonnet and sweet boots. This fashion plate was removed at some point in time from La Belle Assemblee, a magazine from the 1800s that was full of gossip, fashion, and other things a lady would have wanted and needed to be fashionable! At some point in time, someone wrote "403" in pencil at the top of the page, possibly the number of the plate, and painted a black area at the top upper left back. As I was not that person, I have no idea why this would have happened! This is a great example of fashion material from over 200 years ago and a perfect reference of fashion for those who like to recreate dresses from this era!
