Description: For auction is an early 1900s brass car horn that still has its mounting bracket. It is marked Excelsior and was made in France. It retains some of its original nickel finish near the bell. There is a slight bend in the tube as well as the bell. Both of these could be straightened. Also, while the replacement bulb is in good shape. it is loose so it does not generate enough air to blow the horn. Blowing on the horn with your mouth generates a loud automobile horn sound. In that respect, it would provide a great noise maker for a Friday night football game. (LRTC)
