Description: This auction is for a fabulous Framed Print, "Little Putney," by James Abbott McNeill Whistler. I got this recently from a local estate outside of Boston. I have not removed it from the frame. It is about 19" x 15", including the frame. The artwork itself is about 8.75" x 6" inside the mat. It has a Certificate of Authenticity on the back from the Associate American Artists, numbered 6503, with a signature. See photos for condition. There are tiny brown spots on the print- I am honestly not sure if they are supposed to be there or not. The mat board does not have these spots. I have not removed the artwork from the frame and I am just selling it "As Found" and "As Is" since it is an estate find. If you google this print you'll find it in various museums such at the Met, National Gallery of Art, etc. The wood frame itself has some wear and scratches. Check out the photos!
