Description: Hand painted in shades of brown, terracotta and gold gilt. Back ground is a deep coco brown and interior is bronze shade. The bottom half is flattened so no wobbling when sitting. There is a small area on interior lip that has chipped away. Still the lid has a good secure fit. There is one small dent on top half to right side....hardly worth mentioning...please see last two pics. Having noted these flaws, this beautifully decorated egg is still in fine condition commensurate with age being late 18th c. 8" long5 3/4" wide5 1/2" tall
