Description: An absolutely beautiful antique 19th century loom woven wool & linen jacquard piece. Wonderful folksy design of various floral baskets, tulips & hearts. 1830s to 1850s range. Beautiful tri color palette of deep indigo blue, rose & camel. Condition is good for it’s age though there is some fiber loss & thinning to the fibers, more visible when held to the light. Still strong & appears overall clean. I’ll be listing a few variations of loom woven wool pieces in separate listings, all from the stock of a former historic fiber artisan. ***Measures~ 30” wide by 30” long Wonderful for primitive & artisan creations/fiber art etc.. I wouldn’t hesitate to hang or frame this. Even a table piece or on the back of a ladder back chair, covering a stool/ottoman would be lovely in a primitive farmhouse or historic setting.
