Both pieces are etched with the artist signature, and are further marked "Etling, Paris," which is the fondeur. These are original pieces, not later (or contemporaneous) copies. They are made of solid bronze, mounted to black veined marble.The bookends measure 9" tall, 8,5" long, and 3" deep. Both pieces are in excellent condition. One piece has a small chip to one corner, but otherwise there are no concerns. They are is superior original condition.
