Description: Early wood Shaker Pantry Finger Box. Superb example of Shaker craftsmanship. Nice patina, all original early hand forged nails. Note inside reads, “A tailor pulled out a nail to use the box for his thread” and a very old single nutmeg is inside. Repair to wood on inner band as seen in photo and split in outside, same area as seen in photos. Box is tight and lid fits securely. Please see all photos. 9” long, 2.5” tall, 4” wide.
