Description: Beautiful large Jasperware jardinière by Wedgwood in the cream on green c. 1891-1908. Features a neoclassical pattern with Apollo and four of the Muses standing beneath garlands of grapes and vines which hang from lion’s head masks. There is a narrow border of flowers to the rim. Base is impressed Wedgwood and England dating the production period to 1891-1908. Measures 8" high x 9" diameter and is in overall Excellent antique condition, note staining to the interior, a small nick to the rim, minor scuffing throughout, as well as minor wear to the relief commensurate with age, please see all photos.
