Description: HISTORY: Babylon 5 is an American TV series created, produced and written by J. Michael Straczynski. The series revolves around the Babylon 5 space station, a focal point for politics, diplomacy and conflict. At the beginning of the series, five dominant civilizations were represented. The dominant species are Humans, Minbari, Narn, Centauri and Vorlons. The Shadows and their various allies are the enemies and have been appearing during the series. A few dozen smaller, less powerful species from the League of Non-Aligned Worlds appear regularly, including the Drazi, the Brakiri, the Vree, the Markab and the pak'ma'ra.
