Our cartridge holder has a precisely positioned brass 3-48 thread center nut assuring proper alignment and effortless mounting with the headshell thumbscrew. Gold plated audio pins provide a clean audio signal, they resist oxidation. Zoom in on the annular space around the pins - a fit this precise is only achieved with molded plastic, 3D prints sold by others can't produce such a tight tolerance nor can they provide a sound free of "3D print resonance" as described by one of our customers.The soldered cartridge lead wires are silver plated copper strand, and are insulated "to the tips", another measure to prevent oxidation.Exclusive to Best Audio, included in your purchase are the impossible-to-find "Double D" cartridge mounting nuts. We can ship brass slot nuts and screws.We designed the nuts after the originals, and they drop perfectly into the slots on the cartridge sled.
