Description: Antique December 1917 The Ladies' Home Journal Magazine WWI war painting only, does NOT include the full magazine. Issue features a war scene painting by J.L. G. Ferris, "CHRISTMAS EVE AT MOUNT VERNON(1798)." The back page is a story, "Our Boys in France", by Henri Bazin. This page has been trimmed along one side, presumably by the original purchaser of the magazine wishing to remove the torn cover edge to make it suitable to frame perhaps. This is 2 of 2 being listed. Measures approx. 10.5" x 16". The condition is acceptable for a 1919 paper magazine page. There is a sizable accordion tear along the right side of the painting page. The piece is still attached and in place for a repair. Otherwise there is normal discoloration, wear and creases, tears and folds (along bottom edge). See photos for details and condition.
