Description: Antique Fan, FAcher, Eventail, Ventaglio, Abanico Legyezo, Leque, Ogi, Uchiwa. Q-2024 Lovely VICTORIAN ERA HAND FAN, MOP Carved Sticks with hand painted paper and unusual gotic shape.. This Ladies fan has 16 Mother of Pearl sticks with an amazing iridescent of rainbow colors in light, with fantastic carved work and they are connected with a petite shiny stone in each side. The sticks are connected with a metal ring loop. Wonderful craftsman work!!! Date: Circa 1880 Origin: France Unsigned. Dimensions approx.: Totally Open 11 7/8" ( cm) Sticks 7 1/4" ( cm) Condition as pictured. Both guard has been restored and one stick is broken, marked in pictures with yellow color. It has some damage on the paper, shown in pictures; consistent with is age and use for a piece more than 130 years old. The fan open and close appropriately, but it must be treated with delicacy.
