A ceramic vessel in blue and brown contains a spray of forget me nots, with an apple and grapes surrounding the vessel. This painting is best viewed when placed in a bright interior space or under a picture light. The painting measures 13-3/4" x 16-3/4" including the frame, which is original to the piece. The painted area measures 8-5/8" x 11-3/4". It is signed Donald F. Allan 82 in the lower right corner. The painting was purchased directly from the artist and is a beautiful example of his fine quality work. The painting is in excellent undamaged condition.
