Description: Seller: Alley-Antiques DESCRIPTION: Antique English Pottery. Nice early copper luster pitcher jug. Unmarked. Dates to the 1830-1850 time period. Circa 1835. Simple pattern with allover copper luster and blue band with scroll pattern on the upper collar. Scroll handle. Many different makers made this type of ware and most were unmarked, so maker unknown. Good condition for age. No chips, cracks, or repairs. Some wear around the bottom foot as expected. No other damage. There may be typical in-the-making imperfection like stilt marks, sand grit loss, glaze bubbles that may be noticed. Beautiful affordable early 19th Century example. Measures about 5 5/8" tall at top of handle. Guaranteed old and early 19th Century. Look at pics as they are considered part of the description. Shipping total includes insurance, confirmation.
