The deck focuses on building a massive orc army, meanwhile casting a number of creatures and spells with strong synergies to generate value as you overwhelm your opponent. The deck starts by casting a number of different spells that allow you to amass your orc army including Sauron, Gothmog, Grishnakh, Book of Mazarbul, March from the Black gate, etc. Mauhur helps grow this army even larger, and a number of cards synergize with the army including Ugluk (grows when the army or any other creatures die), Gothmog (grants the army deathtouch), Moria Marauder (play spells off the top), Sauron (ring tempts, card draw).
