Description: This is a bare-bones, reproduction, skeleton kit for the Mega Der Red Max - Estes #9705. The completed rocket stands 40 inches tall, is 4 inches in diameter, and has a 29mm motor mount. When Estes produced the Pro Series model rockets in 2012, the king of them all was the Mega Der Red Max! This 4" monster was the baddest Pro Series rocket Estes made. Unfortunately, it was gone from the scene in only a few years and has been out of production for almost a decade. This kit is the skeleton of this monster. Comes with Laser-cut, plywood fins and centering rings, a pre-slotted 4 inch body tube, a 29mm motor tube, launch lugs, Kevlar shock cord and the distinctive Red Max nose cone. You provide balsa fin skins, motor retention, parachute and decals (not included) to build your Max your way. (Stickershock makes a wide variety of decals perfect for this kit). No instructions are included with this kit, but a link to the original instructions is included. Get this while you can, no telling how long these tubes and nose cones will be available. When they are gone, they're gone. Just so we are clear - this is not a complete rocket kit. It does not include motors, igniters or launch equipment.
