It can hold various sizes of candles from tapers to pillars without the glass lamp cover or as a fairy lamp you can use votive of tea lights. I used a color changing battery-operated tealight for the pictures, which works too. It's in beautiful condition. There is patina on the base. There is a green inside. It is NOT verdegris. There was turquoise green wax inside. I did try to remove most of it but didn't want to remove any patina, so I left the rest to the buyer so they can preserve or polish as they prefer.
