Description: This is a great looking, and very clean goliath with the exception of the scratches to the inside covers as mentioned. Not sure if someone was testing for silver content. Attractive blue cartouches with gold trim. Not tested for content. Great looking Luis the 15th, gold hands. Dial does have damage on the outer edge, which I think may be repaired properly. Pictures are part of the description so please check carefully. Not tested for gold content. Watch runs very well and ran for more than twenty hours on partial winding. Crystal is plastic with many light scratches; most likely from being carried in the pocket. This is what you would truly expect to get from a well-loved and daily carried pocket watch. Not tested for accuracy or duration. Regulator does work, so time can be adjusted if required. Case is pretty clean for its age, aside from the inside marks, ca., 1880 or 1890. Case has an awesome patina. Great timekeeper and an AWSOME Display Piece. Does wind and set without problems.
