Description: Grainger Royal Worcester Hand Painted Burns Cottage Ivory Gold 8 3/4 Inch Plate Nice antique porcelain plate in the Brunswick shape with relief molded scrollwork bordered in shades of ivory and gold. Decorated with a hand painted scene depicting Robert Burns's cottage. Marked on the reverse with the pattern number 5083 in red. Also marked G&Co Established 1801 inside a shield with Royal China Works Worcester England and a D. This mark was used after the takeover by Royal Worcester and the D is a date code for 1894. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 8 3/4 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
