Description: This auction is for a Hand Modified Belly Dance Red Black Gold 3 PC Costume - Skirt, Hip Wrap, Bra 38DD, & Necklace. This skirt is very HEAVY and was made from an used ball gown and trimmed with red & gold sequin trims. There are 2 panels on the non-roll elastic with about 1/4 of material in front and the rest in back. There is what I call a flounce, that is an extra piece of material from the gown, trimmed with red and gold sequin, and can be tucked into the hip wrap for extra movement. The hip scarf was made from red sequin material and trimmed with gold sequin and faux gold coins. Both the hip scarf and the bra have the red sequin material in them. The bra is a Torrid brand, with Underwire, adjustable straps, thin padded cups, and a size 38DD - made in Vietnam. The bra drape is a new gold necklace that was pinned onto the bra. It also could be taken off and worn by itself or you can change the pins to another position or sew it on permanently. Pins were used a lot when I danced in the 80's and 90's. The red necklace around the neck is used and included in this auction. All pieces are in very good condition. All my hand modified costumes have never been used before to belly dance. The gowns are used and the other pieces are also usually used. These costumes are unique and one of a kind. Measurements: Opaque Skirt: elastic hips are 33" stretching to approx. 62". Length is approx. 35". Elastic can be taken in or added if necessary. Measurements: Hip wrap: length is approx. 85" and width is 9.5".
