Description: From 1960s Ireland here is a superb FULL SET of eight different IRISH coins..... farthing to half crown. The set includes a 1966 FARTHING and a 1968 florin (both UNCIRCULATED) And a superb 1962 HALFCROWN. They are all in Very Fine condition and better.... please check photos All coins are original and uncleaned. The coins are by Percy Metcalf, (1895-1970) who won the competition to design the first coins for the Government of the Irish Free State. The rural farming and wildlife theme was known as the Barnyard set. This is the FULL and COMPLETE set of COINS originally minted in 1928. Please note farthings are scarce and expensive but for a FULL SET NEED TO BE INCLUDED. This Set is a GREAT PRESENT FOR ANYONE BORN IN THE 1960S.
