Colour printed wraps, with colour printed dustjacket. Size: 4to (25.7cm x 18cm). Light overall creasing, including to top outer corners of leaves. Small chip to foot of spine. [2] Tokyo): publisher undeciphered, circa 1940s-50s. [24], [167, photo plates], [1], 39, [1], 33, [1], 35, [1], 32, [1], 36, [1], 32, Buff printed wrap with colour illustration laid down on front cover, with colour printed dustjacket. Illustrated with 167 pages of b/w / tinted photo plates and advertisements. Size: 4to (28.5cm x 22cm). Re-backed, with original paper spine laid inside. Dustjacket worn, with tears and fraying to edges, and one inner flap of jacket missing. Long horizontal tear to jacket repaired with tape. Volume itself with some wear and creasing to covers, and minor sunning. Text pages rather age-toned. Remnants of old paper label to front fly-leaf. The first volume has approx. 144 pages of photo plates, and the second volume has approx. 167 pages of photo plates. Both volumes collated and appear complete. key words:
