The JX|8 has adjustable table depths and in-feed support rollers for longer materials being used. This JX Jointer also has an emergency knee-stop that allows the operator to stop the machine quickly at any position without having to let go of their work piece which allows operating this machine to have an extra safety feature. The JX-8 also comes with an all new QuadTec I cutterhead which uses 4-sided carbide insert knives that are quieter and more durable than straight HSS knives. Parallelogram Table Adjustments - Table depth adjustments travel along an arc to keep the same distance to the cutterhead through its travel The all-new QuadTec I cuttherhead comes as standard equipment on the new JX-8. The QuadTec I produces an amazing surface finish on all woods including difficult hardwoods. The QuadTec I uses 4-sided carbide insert knives that are quieter and much more durable compared to straight HSS knives.
